Weeding

A Year of Weeds, a Decade of Seeds

A freshly mowed lawn looks great and pleasing to the eye, but if your lawn or garden has weeds, then this can make your property look unappealing and messy.

Along with this, you don’t want weeds taking over your lawn and garden and possibly becoming a pest especially once the weeds go to seed as the wind will spread the seeds around your property.  Hence the saying “a year of weeds, a decade of seeds”.

Along with de-weeding your property, we also offer Garden Clean Up, and Hedge Trimming services.  Green waste removal is included with all our services.

Book your lawn care service today to have a professional work their magic on your weeds.

Helpful Resources

The Rockhampton Regional Council have helpful information on Invasive Plants on their website.  It’s a great resource to help identify the weeds and provides useful information on the life cycle of the seeds, methods of spread, and how to manage and control them.

Another great resource to identify weeds is the Weeds Australia website where you search for weeds by selecting it’s features from the list, and it will narrow down the search for you to help identify the weed.  They have great pictures so it makes it easy to narrow down the search.
