It is important to choose the right turf for your region, yard, and lifestyle as the turf varieties available have unique characteristics to consider. Some varieties will not suit your needs and may struggle in your environment.

Measure the size of your yard to work out how many square meters (m2) of turf you require.
Below is an example yard:
Section the property into different zones and measure each zone:
Time for some simple math:
Add up the zones to find the total square meters (m2) of turf required for the whole property:
In this example, we need to order at least 230 m2 of turf to do the whole property. It is a good idea to order an extra 5% of turf to allow for any problems.
So for this example property we would order 242 m2 of turf.
